A Year’s Worth of Affirmations to Uplift and Inspire You Every Day – A Powerful Gift for Yourself or Someone You Love
I’m a strong believer in the power of saying affirmations to yourself to help re-write the negative self-talk that most of us have rattling around in our heads – the “that was stupid,” “I can’t do this,” “I’ll never be good enough,” messages that we tell ourselves (often in our parent’s voice) whenever we make a mistake.
The right affirmation, repeated over and over, can completely change our perceptions of ourselves and give us confidence to achieve our goals.
But what is the right affirmation, and how should it be phrased? This collection of 365 different affirmations will give you the opportunity to try out a whole range of positive statements, phrased differently with different “voices,” so that your heart can tell you what it is you really need to hear. The cards are blank on the back, so you can write notes about any thoughts or feelings the affirmation calls forth.
The instructions that come with these cards (click on the “About Affirmations” tab to read all of them) recommend choosing one a day and saying it 100 times. For most of these short phrases, this will only take about five minutes, but you can say them fewer times, or carry them around a say them off and on all day long. By the end of the day, you will be able to feel whether this is an affirmation you need, or sense that it addresses an issue you’ve already healed.
365 cards come in a hand-made walnut holder you can set on your nightstand. The boxes come both lidded and un-lidded. If our website says we are out of one of them, check back in a few days. We have more on order.
Do affirmations really work? Well, they aren’t magic, but yes, research has shown that they can be very helpful.
These are a gift you can give to yourself, or anyone you know who could use a little encouragement. Affirmations are used by people in therapy, in 12-Step groups, support groups, and by just about anyone interested in personal growth. Give them a try. Millions of people have found them helpful.
Waiting Room Magic!
Therapists, chiropractors, and any other healing professional with a waiting room will find these a godsend. “Please take an affirmation while you wait,” will turn an anxious wait into an uplifting session warm-up.
