These mini versions of our popular Race Unity Buttons cost about the same as one of those itty-bitty candy bars that will be gone in one bite, but they can be worn with pride for years. Meanwhile, they carry a powerful message of unity, suitable for both kids and adults. This was my very first design, yet its gentle message of black and white unity is timeless. It doesn’t need words; the two doves united by a heart say it all.
Put them in a bowl or basket like candy at a fair or festival. Pass them out at children’s class, or even donate them to a school.
As a mini-button, this design almost qualifies as a piece of jewelry. It can be worn like a lapel pin. The pretty colors make it a favorite with children, who accept the idea of unity naturally.
These are real buttons, just small, at 1″ (2.5cm) in diameter. They even have a safety pin back, so they won’t poke you when you attach it to your shirt, jacket, hat, purse or laptop bag. The front is metal, but the back is plastic, with a steel safety pin.
